Research Focus: Cybersecurity is an fast-developing research area. Threats and challenges to cyber-physical systems are always evolving. Students will choose a topic from cybersecurity and conduct background research, identify a problem, and propose solution(s).

Mentoring Plan: Student will meet with me once a week for updates and future guidance. At the beginning of the semester, I will present multiple open problems in cybersecurity to the student. The student will choose a problem that interests them and then conduct background research. They will explore solutions proposed by others and possibly design and create their own solution(s). The deliverable will be either a journal/conference paper or functioning software.
