Potential Student Project(s): A potential student project would be a critique of the famous Middletown Study.

Attributes/skills/background sought in undergraduate:The skills needed to do any research project include good writing, strong analysis, creativity, and clear findings. Another component to effective research is using academic sources that address one's research question. The literature review should connect one's research to other scholarly studies done on the same topic.

Mentoring Plan: The student researcher will work 5 h/week on the project including a 1-on-1 interaction with you for at least 1 hour/week.

The mentoring plan will include regular meetings with the student, editing sessions, and deadlines to ensure completion of the project. I will also encourage students to present their research at an academic conferences.
