What is the Teacher-Scholar program?

A campus-wide one-semester long program that engages student researchers in 5 hours/week of research or a creative endeavor with their mentor.

Who are Teacher-Scholar mentors?

Faculty or professional staff who collaborate with student researchers as colleagues, engaging them in their research and creative endeavors.

Student Researchers

Who are student researchers?
Undergraduates in their 1st or 2nd year
Transfer students in their 1st year

When can they participate?
Fall, Spring or Summer

What is the time commitment?
5h/week – one semester

Do students get a stipend?
Yes, $750 dollars
