Fight Like Hell: The Story of Mother Jones is an original musical developed by Dr. Beth Turcotte and her student cohort. The musical highlights the historical labor organizer Mary Harris "Mother Jones".

After surviving the death of her husband and four children from yellow fever, her dress making business destroyed by the Chicago fire, Mary Jones rose to prominence as a fiery orator and fearless organizer of the Mine Workers during the first two decades of the 20th century. Students created the production, researched, wrote the script, composed the music, marketed, and performed as cast members.
