Danielle Curry
Assistant Teaching Professor of English
Danielle Curry grew up in the eastern mountains of West Virginia and for the past four years, she and her husband, Jonathan, have resided in Zanesville, Ohio. Her creative work is both character and place driven, focusing on small-town culture and addresses identity—specifically being a woman-- belonging, and bearing witness to trauma. Her research interests include ways to use writing as a tool to access challenging material including how writers can use everyday objects as an access point to understand and grapple with more difficult material.
