John Carter
Assistant Lecturer of English
Born and raised in the Muncie area, John Carter is a 2018 Ball State University alum and 2022 graduate of the Iowa State University Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing and Environment program. His research interests include the American and Midwest Gothic, ecowriting, sustainable agriculture and agrarian writing, and instructional design. If he isn't on campus, you can usually find him wandering around cornfields, thinking about ghosts and the apocalypse.
