The CAP Design-Build Facility is a large workshop
where students from the College
of Architecture and Planning can build pieces of
buildings or large mock-ups to see how their designs come together in real
life. The stand-alone building is removed enough from nearby classroom buildings
to allow students to use power saws, hammers, and other tools without
disrupting classes - and big enough to allow students to work on large-scale
projects even during inclement weather.
