Randi Melvin-Brown
Assistant Teaching Professor in Applied Behavior Analysis
Dr. MB has been practicing behavior analysis since 2006. Dr. MB is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with Doctoral Designation (BCBA-D) and a Licensed Behavior Analyst in Nevada.
Dr. MB earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Nevada Las Vegas in 2007. In 2015, she completed her Master's Degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis through Kaplan University. She completed her Ph.D. with The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Applied Behavior Analysis in 2021. Her research interest include verbal behavior, Acceptance and Commitment Training (ACT), self-monitoring, and staff performance.
Professional Experience
Dr. MB has experience across a variety of settings (schools, behavioral hospitals, supported living, family home) and ages. She specializes in working with multidisciplinary teams to support people with severe behavioral disorders. Dr. MB enjoys seeing clients build independence and accomplish goals they set for themselves.
