Lindsay Bennett is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Social Work Department. Her career path focuses on continually incorporating knowledge from research and clinical practice into teaching. She currently maintains a clinical practice caseload while teaching, specializing in trauma disorders. Her research includes qualitative and quantitative approaches, with a dissertation study completed in scale development. Currently, she is working towards continuing research for complex trauma and is interested in best therapeutic practices for this population. Dr. Bennett has targeted interest in somatic therapies, such as yoga, and advancing knowledge around the benefits of a holistic approach in treatment. Dr. Bennett teaches in the BSW and MSW programs.
