Amanda McKinley is a doctoral candidate at Indiana University. Her dissertation is an international study of young adults’ loneliness. She is exploring the social benefits of group fitness and its effects on loneliness. She has many years of clinical experience in private practice, at Open Door, Meridian Services, as an ER social worker, and as a youth and family therapist. Professor McKinley was most recently a visiting Clinical Wellness Professor at Indiana University. Professor McKinley teaches BSW and MSW courses.
