Our department serves a double duty. Not only do we teach you how to improve and help the lives of others, but throughout your time here, you’ll learn much more about yourself. As you work as an advocate and sometimes the voice for the voiceless, you may tap an inner strength you never knew you had.

Our curriculum is designed to help you work in a variety of social work backgrounds with a diverse group of people. Continuously accredited since 1974, we are the oldest accredited undergraduate program in the state. With over 250 social work majors, we are also one of the largest BSW programs in Indiana.
