Indiana Writers Center

English students have the opportunity for a paid internship every summer in downtown Indianapolis with the Indiana Writers Center (IWC) to educate and inspire youth ages 6-16. You will gain experience in teaching, publishing, and non-profit public relations. Learn more.

Writing Center

The Writing Center is staffed by graduate assistants and hourly tutors who provide individualized writing feedback to clients. Students from any major are encouraged to apply to be tutors, but you must have good writing and people skills. Learn more.

Digital Writing Studio

The Digital Writing Studio is a working and tutoring space for students, faculty, and staff who want to learn how to use digital technologies and create digital projects. Tutors on hand can help you brainstorm project ideas, provide feedback, and troubleshoot technological impasses as needed. Learn more.

English internships are supervised, on-the-job learning assignments which allow you to apply your knowledge and skills. These experiences also help you to focus your career choices and professional goals. Learn more.
