Dr. Bruning is a Ball State Alumnus with teaching experiences in pre-K to graduate school in private and public institutions and higher education administration. Her husband earned his Doctor of Arts in Music from Ball State and their son earned his PhD from University of Notre Dame in Biblical Studies – Hebrew Bible. The family enjoys hiking, reading, and music. Research Interests: Multicultural Education and Diversity; Teacher Education and Teacher Effectiveness; Integration of the Fine Arts throughout the curricula areas especially in Language Arts and Social Studies.
