Mentoring Plan: Mixed-media work will be created with a primary focus in glass for upcoming shows that will involve several sculptures and a small installation. I anticipate meeting with the selected student to explain the project scope and specifics of the work required. Student will work 5 hours per week on the project including 1-on-1 interactions with me for about 1 hour per week. Initially, that hour will be relegated toward bringing the student’s technical proficiency to the level required for the current research goals. Later in the semester, this time will be utilized towards expanding the student’s own research goals.
