The Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) provides project management, system administration, and business analysis support to Information Technology’s enterprise systems, including our ERP (Banner), our LMS (Canvas), and other enterprise-critical software and hardware systems on campus. The office manages hardware and software upgrades for these systems, along with regular maintenance and security updates.
In addition, the EPMO manages requests from departments, faculty, and staff for new technology system purchases, installations, and maintenance, along with managing the life cycle of the project. IT is responsible for engaging and collaborating with Purchasing Services for the RFP/RFI process when necessary.
Technology Project Management
The Enterprise Project Management Office provides technical project management services over a wide range of project types, including:
- New technology system implementations (engaging University Purchasing Services as necessary)
- Upgrades to existing technology system
- New and updated existing technology system integrations
- Technology system onboarding
- Technology system maintenance, including upgrades and patches

Technology System Administration
The Enterprise Project Management Office manages the administration of nearly all of the campus-wide enterprise technology systems, such as Banner, Canvas, Microsoft Office 365, single sign-on (SSO), and many more. This includes software upgrades and patches, as well as onboarding departmental and individual users.
