Schmidt/Wilson Residence Hall, affectionately known as "Schmilson," is located in the North Residential Neighborhood on Ball State's campus.
Home to the College of Fine Arts Living-Learning Community, Schmidt/Wilson offers a vibrant and creative environment for its residents. Renovated in 2017, this coed hall features a design studio, black box theatre, music practice rooms, and a dance studio. These spaces support students in preparing auditions, rehearsing productions, and recording audition reels, fostering both academic and artistic growth. Schmidt/Wilson is a dynamic hub for creativity and collaboration, where students thrive academically and artistically.
Schmidt/Wilson is a coed residence hall featuring semi-private bathrooms shared by a small number of students. The loftable furniture allows students to customize their living spaces to suit their needs. Schmidt/Wilson's prime location provides easy access to North Dining Hall, the Jo Ann Gora Student Recreation and Wellness Center, nearby residence halls, and academic buildings.
