holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Music Education and a Master of Music Degree in Vocal Performance from Ball State University. Jodi was the Director of Choral Activities at Columbia City High School for five years and the Assistant Director for the Ball State University Singers for two years. Jodi has also performed as a singer, dancer, and pianist for several theme parks across the United States including Cedar Point and Busch Gardens Williamsburg.
Currently, she is beginning her first year as a full time contract professor within the Musical Theatre Department at Ball State University after finishing seven years as an adjunct faculty professor in the same area. Jodi teaches Voice lessons for the Musical Theatre BFA students. She also teaches Sight-Singing, Singing Actor, and helps with both the Chicago and New York Showcases. Jodi has served as the Musical Director for the productions of Little Shop of Horrors
, Company, Little Women
, Into the Woods
, and I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change
at Ball State University. She has also accompanied for several other productions.
For The Legacy Theatre in Tyrone, Georgia, Jodi has music directed Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat

, and several others. She also helps as a vocal teacher for a Musical Theatre Summer Camp which hosts about 120 students per year at the Legacy Theatre.
This year, Jodi Music Directed two summer shows for Cedar Point Amusement Park in Sandusky, Ohio. She serves as a Site Coordinator for the Indiana State School of Music. This position oversees the adjudication process for several State Qualifying Show Choir Invitationals. Jodi is also the Assistant Music Director at her church and the mother of a beautiful son, Michael Jovon.
