The Ball State faculty jazz group performs repertoire from the group members with an occasional nod to the Jazz greats like Miles Davis, Wayne Shorter and Slide Hampton.
The group plays one concert on campus every semester and travels to high schools in the region to perform and give clinics and masterclasses.
The Faculty Jazz Group played a concert for the 2017 Indiana Music Educators Convention and worked with the 2017 Indiana All State High School Jazz Ensemble.
They did sectionals for the All-State High School and Middle School Jazz Ensembles as well as masterclasses.
