Scholarships and Assistantships

On top of the dozens of scholarships Ball State offers, we have many for School of Music students. If you’re a graduate student, consider applying for an assistantship.

Discover the School of Music

Along with our array of degrees, you can find any number of performance opportunities for music majors, minors, and non- majors in our award-winning ensembles; all to the backdrop of some of the best facilities in the country.

The School of Music hosts over 300 events annually. Most events are free and open to the public and include a wide range of recitals, concerts, opera productions, and master classes. Visit the Emens Box Office for any of our ticketed events. Can’t make a concert? Many of our large ensemble concerts and faculty-in-residence ensemble recitals are streamed live.
