Save the Date!

In celebration of Ball State University’s Centennial, the School of Music presents a masterworks concert at the Hilbert Circle Theatre in downtown Indianapolis on Sunday, April 14, 2019. The program will include works by Jake Runestad, Percy Grainger, and Omar Thomas and will culminate with a performance of Beethoven's iconic Symphony No. 9!

Along with our array of degrees, you can find any number of performance opportunities for music majors, minors, and non- majors in our award-winning ensembles; all to the backdrop of some of the best facilities in the country.


The School of Music hosts over 300 events annually. Most events are free and open to the public and include a wide range of recitals, concerts, opera productions, and master classes. Visit the Emens Box Office for any of our ticketed events. Can’t make a concert? Many of our large ensemble concerts and faculty-in-residence ensemble recitals are streamed live.
