Dr. Russell Wahlers, Interim Chair of the Department of Marketing, joined the Ball State faculty in 1989.
Dr. Wahlers received his doctorate in Marketing and Decision Sciences from Kent State University and previously taught at the University of Notre Dame Mendoza College of Business and John Carroll University with teaching and research interests in marketing research and consumer information processing. He is a past President’s Immersive Learning Fellow, having mentored more than a dozen immersive projects and is currently a BSU Diversity Fellow. His industry experience includes assignments at BFGoodrich Engineered Systems in Marketing Research, Strategic Planning, and Purchasing. Russ is an avid sailor and frustrated piano player.
