In 2005 the Herron School of Art, an anchor for the Herron-Morton Place and Old Northside neighborhoods for nearly a century, relocated to the IUPUI campus, leaving behind a small campus of noteworthy buildings. The City of Indianapolis took ownership of the site and developed an advisory committee to explore reuse alternatives.
CAP:IC provided technical support to the committee and architecture students explored alternatives for campus reuse.
