Course Overview

The Music Composition minor provides students with the skills and knowledge necessary to compose original music across a variety of genres. This program is designed for School of Music majors who want to expand their understanding of music composition while incorporating modern technologies and techniques. Students will develop their creativity, musical technique, and technical skills in music production, preparing them to compose for both traditional and contemporary settings. This minor is only open to music majors not majoring in composition.
