Cardinal Day of Wellbeing and Benefits Fair
Join us for the Cardinal Day of Wellbeing and Benefits Fair! All employees are invited and encouraged to attend. Programming will be offered around the five pillars of wellbeing - financial, community, physical, social and career. You will be able to visit vendor booths, attend educational sessions, enjoy snacks, and register for prizes! Bring your lunch to the employee kickback where there will be fun games and the opportunity to socialize. Additionally, there is the opportunity to register to get your Flu shot. We hope to see you there!

- Making Sustainable Change on Campus and in Your Life: Attendees will learn how to define and apply sustainability concepts to the campus and their daily lives.
- Presented by Margaret Lo, Chief Sustainability Officer
- Creating Work Life Balance and How EAP can Help: The EAP program can offer you and your family members a wealth of support. This session will dive into all the available components and how to access them. At the end of this session you will say, “I did not know the EAP could do that”!

- INPRS - Understanding Your Plan - a PERF/TRF Presentation: Not ready to retire but still wanting to know more about your retirement benefits plan? Ex: What plan am I in? How does the plan work? Explanation of retirement benefits. Information about working after retirement. Answers to your benefit plan questions.

- Benefits 101: CoPay. Deductible. Premium. Out of Pocket Maximum. Not sure what all this means? Learn the basics of benefits and how to decode benefits terminology.

- Diabetes Management & Prevention: Explore the impact of diabetes on the whole person; physically, mentally, and emotionally. We’ll discuss how diabetes affects daily life, overall well-being, and long-term health outcomes. The session will also cover essential lifestyle actions that are crucial in both preventing and managing diabetes effectively. Attendees will walk away with practical strategies to empower themselves or others on the journey to a healthier, diabetes-free future.

- Can I Retire with Ball State Insurance Benefits?: What does it take to retire with Ball State Insurance Benefits? We will go over what your first steps need to be and what is required of you, if eligible. Meet your Retiree Benefits Specialist at Ball State and get a better understanding of what the University has to offer.

- Learn to Breathe When You Are Busy: Learn how breathwork can release stress and reset your day. Understand some basic science behind using the breath and what exactly Breathwork is anyway. Master a few simple practices to do at work, at home or anytime you need a break.

- Do I Really Need Accident Insurance?: Learn more about voluntary benefits offered by Hartford including critical illness, accident insurance and hospital indemnity. Participants will learn what they are, how they work and why you might consider adding them to your plan this year.
Flu Shot Details
CVS will be offering Flu Shots every 15 minutes from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM.
- To receive a flu shot, you must complete registration through CVS and select a time slot.
- Only employees enrolled in one of Ball State's health insurance plans are able to participate.
- Please bring your insurance card with you.
Employee Kickback
The Office of Inclusive Excellence invites you to the Employee Kickback from 11:30 AM -1:00 PM. The
purpose of this time is to get to know other employees at Ball State, and to
