Geneveive Newman
Assistant Professor of Media
Dr. Geneveive Newman is a film and media studies educator who earned her PhD at the University of Pittsburg. Her film work has been exhibited at the Culver Center for the Arts (now UCR ARTS), the University of Pittsburgh (as an official selection for the Doctober Collegiate Documentary Film Festival in 2023), and at the Birkbeck Institute for Moving Images. Her research focuses on feminist approaches to cultural production (including film and other media) and my filmmaking praxis is situated in autobiographical feminist collage cinema.
