Benjamin Strack
Associate Teaching Professor in Department of Media
Benjamin Strack teaches the art, culture, technology, and techniques of on-set production for the film and television industry. He combines hands-on practice with real world examples to develop the theory and skills in his students. He finds joy in helping students figure out what they are passionate about.
Before teaching, he spent 6 years working as a photojournalist and engineer in West Michigan, while working in independent film. He received his MFA in film production from Rochester Institute of Technology and his bachelor of arts in film, video, and media studies from Western Michigan University. He lives with his wife and young daughter in Muncie.
