DOMA Student Employment

When any student positions are open, the opportunity will always be posted on Workday

In addition to student visitor assistant positions, DOMA often offers semester-long internships that provide hands-on, practical experience for students interested in exploring the museum profession. Internships for students are available for credit or no credit. An internship is 150 hours and must be completed over the course of the semester during normal business hours at the David Owsley Museum of Art.

A museum internship is a project-based, prearranged, structured learning experience, scheduled within a specific time frame. It should be relevant to both the intern's stated academic and professional goals, and to the museum's needs and interests.

Ball State students interested in employment at DOMA must first apply in Workday when a posting is live. Applicants will receive additional instructions with a link to a questionnaire and the opportunity to upload application materials (including a resume, transcript, and cover letter). We cannot review incomplete applications.
