William Price arrived as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Geography in 2018. His broad research interests include tourism, cultural heritage, sustainability, and mass violence, with a primary focus on industrial tourism and heritage in the United States, United Kingdom, and Australia. He teaches tourism and political geography courses in the department, such as GEOG 261: Introduction to Sustainable Tourism, GEOG 262: Tourism Regions, and GEOG 270: Geography of International Conflict. He earned his MS degree from Oklahoma State University and PhD from the University of Kansas.
