Mathew Simpson
Assistant Lecturer of Natural Resources and Environmental Management
My main research interests focus on the effects of microfibers and nurdles (pre-production microplastics), particularly their distribution, weathering, and impact on ecosystems. Additionally, I am interested in applying my expertise in IR spectroscopy and chemometric techniques to analyzing fire debris, focusing on its application in arson investigations.
