Reuben Allen is a Teaching Professor for a wide range of classes. His regularly taught courses include:

GEOG 101 - Physical Geography, GEOG 120 - Economic Geography, GEOG 121 - Cultural Geography, GEOG 150 - Global Geography, GEOG 265 - Introduction to Geographic Information Systems, GEOG 350 - U.S. and Canada, GEOG 351 - Latin America and the Caribbean, GEOG 423 - Population Geography, GEOG 445 - Geographic Information Systems Applications Design and Development, GEOG 480 - Distant Area Field Studies, SUST 250 - Introduction to Sustainable Development, SUST 523 - Social Sustainability: Population

He also serves as faculty advisor for the honor society Gamma Theta Upsilon and the Ball State Climbing Club, and has assisted Dr. David Call since 2008 for GEOG 480: Field Observation for Severe Local Storms. 

For recreation, Dr. Allen enjoys playing and watching baseball, basketball, and football.
