Aihua Li
Assistant Professor of Geography
I have broad research interests in remote sensing and geospatial data analytics and modeling. Specific topics include the utilization of geospatial datasets at various scales to conduct research on the terrestrial ecosystem by 1) Assessing the capability of satellite data to characterize vegetation function, composition, and structure; 2) Exploring vegetation dynamics and their feedback with the changing climate; 3) Mapping and modeling ecosystem-scale carbon emissions and carbon in soil, and their interaction with vegetation dynamics.
