Jeff Dyer
Assistant Professor of Ethnomusicology and Musicology
Dr. Dyer is a scholar, artist, and lifelong educator with research focusing on the intersections of traditional and popular music, the post-genocide politics of history and trauma, and people’s relations with ancestors in Cambodia. He has published articles in flagship journals including Ethnomusicology, the Yale Journal of Music & Religion, and Asian Music. He has conducted research on music in several countries in Asia.
