Purdue University, Indianapolis, BS in Biology, 1996
Indiana University, Ph.D. in Microbiology/Immunology, 2002
Research Interests
My research interests lie in educational research. I am very interested in improving the long term retention of information for my students, as well as building their critical reasoning skills. I am a firm believer in student centered learning, where students actively participate in their own educational process. Therefore, I focus on studying new styles of teaching to reach these goals.
