Pregnancy Accommodations

Ball State does not discriminate against students on the basis of pregnancy or related conditions. Absences due to medical conditions relating to pregnancy will be excused for as long as a student's doctor deems medically necessary, and the student will receive the opportunity to make up missed work.

Parking

There are six spaces on campus designated for expectant mothers. You may obtain a permit for using these spaces through Parking Services.

Lactation Rooms

Ball State provides multiple dedicated lactation rooms on campus for employees, students, and visitors to support women balancing their needs as mothers.

Access cards are required for all locations and may be obtained from the HR Solutions Center, AD G008, or by calling 765-285-1836

Visitors in the Alumni Center may obtain access cards at the front desk. Visitors at the Student Center may obtain them at the check-in desk for the Ball State Hotel.
