Partner with Ball State

Community partners play a critical role in helping Ball State University students become engaged citizens of Muncie and Delaware County. Whether it is conducting orientations and training sessions, involving students in ongoing projects, or helping students see the impact they are having on the community through direct service, community partners are co-educators for each student with whom they interact.

Attending the Volunteer Recruitment Fair each semester is a great opportunity for community partners to begin developing relationships with their student volunteers.

Work with Us

There are multiple ways an agency can partner with the Office of Student Life and Student Voluntary Services. Agencies wishing to propose anything from a one time service experience to an ongoing partnership should email Student Voluntary Service.

Expectations

As a community partner with Student Voluntary Services, please note the following expectations:

  • As an SVS community partner, your agency/school must be listed in the SVS database. This will allow Ball State students to see the opportunities available to them at your site.
  • Community partners are asked to update their contact information and agency/program description on an annual basis.
  • It is expected that, as a community partner, you will provide supervised, safe environments for the Ball State students.
  • SVS asks that community partners communicate with them on a regular basis.
