The CSH Success Hub is hitting the road! We're spending the day in Cooper Science to provide student success resources and to showcase the CSH Success Hub. We'll be discussing what resources are available for students to finish the semester strong. Success Hub staff will be in the first floor lobby of Cooper Science. Stop by for candy, resources, and a chance to learn more about the CSH Success Hub.

This exhibition highlights faculty and staff creativity across the various disciplines in the School of Art, including animation, ceramics, drawing, game art and design, glass, graphic design, illustration, metals + jewelry, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, and video and new media. Gallery talk and reception on October 22 from 4 to 6 p.m. This exhibition and reception are free and open to the public.

Judith Awono, Ball State University linguistics graduate student, will share her research which addresses a significant gap in studies on multiword expressions by focusing on an African multilingual context, specifically Swahili-English contact in Kenya. The findings contribute to second language acquisition, intercultural pragmatics, and sociolinguistics by showing how culturally embedded expressions function as tools for communication, identity, and cultural transmission.This event is a part of the University Libraries' Virtual Lunch and Learn Series and is open to all members of the public.

The Rinker Center hosts a Culture Exchange every Thursday at the Student Center located in Yuhas Room 102 for students to learn about their international peers and their home countries. The country of this week is Japan. A free meal will be sponsored by the Multicultural Center to the first 30 attendees. This program is open to all currently enrolled Ball State students.
