a person throwing clay on a wheelIn conjunction with the 4th biennial Indiana Clay Conference, the juried component of the State of Clay in Indiana IV exhibition will highlight the diverse work made by clay artists who have lived or worked in the state of Indiana, while the invitational component of the exhibition spotlights the work of the conference organizers. The exhibition will be juried by Lenny Dowhie. Reception is October 4 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. This exhibition and reception are free and open to the public.

Balance is your body’s ability to stay upright and steady. Without balance you can trip and fall more than normal, and may be seriously hurt. If you feel unsteady or are falling more often it’s time to get your balance and vestibular (inner ear) system checked. Let’s learn. What steps I can take to be safe at home? Can I exercise safely? What can I do to improve my safely and balance?

Maroon Background with Ball State Beneficence Logo and "Design Living-Learning Community" under itJoin the Design LLC for an immersive architectural tour of Muncie and Ball State University, where students will explore how their studies in CAP and the AT department connect directly to real-world design and planning in an Indiana context. This unique experience offers a closer look at local architectural styles, urban development, and the ways in which the built environment shapes community identity. Residents will gain a deeper understanding of how their future careers in design can impact local spaces and industries, all while seeing firsthand how classroom concepts come to life right here in Muncie. After the tour, you will get FREE ICE CREAM at the Multicultural Center!
