Develop expertise in strategic brand building through the Sports Branding & Promotion concentration within the Strategic Communication major. You’ll develop impactful branding, advertising, public relations, and integrated communication campaigns for sports organizations, teams, athletes, sponsors, and sporting events.
Through hands-on learning, you’ll create content across digital, social, and traditional media while gaining experience in sponsorship activation, fan engagement, athlete endorsements, community relations, crisis communication, and brand storytelling. You’ll learn how strategic communication builds strong sports brands, fosters loyal fan communities, and creates meaningful connections between organizations and their audiences.
Students may further customize their education by adding a second concentration in Advertising, Public Relations, or Creative AI Management and Strategies within the Strategic Communication major. They may also broaden their expertise by pursuing a second major in Journalism or Media Design and Development, creating a unique combination of strategic, creative, and professional communication skills.
