Be the voice of students in the Miller College of Business as a member of the Dean’s Student Advisory Council (DSAC). This selective group works directly with the Dean and college leadership to share student perspectives, support key initiatives, and help shape the future of the college.

As a DSAC member, you won’t just participate—you’ll contribute. From supporting Dialogue Days and strengthening alumni engagement to planning the annual Spring Carnival, your work has a visible impact across the Miller College community. You’ll also provide feedback on topics such as curriculum, leadership, and the overall student experience.

DSAC operates like a professional team, with members taking on roles across operations, marketing, and council engagement. This structure gives you hands-on experience collaborating, solving problems, and leading initiatives—preparing you for what comes next after graduation.

Just as important, DSAC challenges you to grow. You’ll step outside your comfort zone, build confidence, and form meaningful connections with peers, faculty, alumni, and college leadership.

“Being part of the Dean’s Student Advisory Council pushes you out of your comfort zone and helps you grow as a professional.” – Janiya Milton, ’27

Through DSAC, you will:

  • Serve as a student voice in conversations with college leadership
  • Gain real-world experience in a team-based, professional environment
  • Represent Miller College at networking and professional events
  • Build leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Develop lasting connections with alumni, faculty, and fellow students
