Rachel (Johnson) Kavathe, PLA, ASLA, AICP, is a landscape architect, city planner and artist. She has been a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners since 2007. She is also a licensed landscape architect in the state of Indiana and an active member of the American Society of Landscape Architects. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Indiana University, a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Georgia, and a Master of City and Regional Planning from the University of North Carolina.

Rachel founded Loci Creative in 2016 and continues to operate her studio from Columbus, Indiana. Projects range from public space design, public art, and community master planning. Prior to founding Loci Creative, Rachel worked on city planning and public space design initiatives for the City of Fishers and the City of Bloomington. She has also completed urban design, planning and landscape architecture projects in Florida, North Carolina and Georgia.
