Ashanti Figures serves as the inaugural Director of Student Success and Honors First-Year Programs in the Honors College. In this role she oversees the Peer Mentor Program and puts on first-year specific programming to aid in the transition and sense of belonging to both the Ball State and Honors College communities.

Ashanti graduated from Ball State in May of 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology before continuing her education and earning her Master of Education in Student Affairs Administration in May of 2022 from the University of North Carolina Greensboro. She is passionate about meeting students where they are and getting them excited about the future! In her free time she enjoys spending time with family, bowling and watching cooking competition shows.
