Dr. Kiesha Warren-Gordon is a Professor of Criminal Justice & Criminology and the director of the African American studies program at Ball State University, where she also serves as an affiliate faculty member in the Gender and Women’s Studies program. Her substantive areas include violence against women across the Black diaspora and critical community engagement. She is the 2021 recipient of the Ball Community Engaged Faculty member of the year and the 2023 Bepko awardee for community engagement from the Indiana Commission of Higher Education.
