Qhawe Bhembe
Assistant Professor of Forensic Science
Dr. Bhembe's research focuses on the interpretation of complex DNA mixtures, demonstrating that single-cell analysis, isolating and analyzing individual cells before DNA extraction, circumvents the limitations of traditional bulk methods by generating one electropherogram per cell, each representing a single contributor.
