Matt White has over 20 years of experience in animation and motion graphics. His career began in the commercial sector, producing local advertisements for brands such as Subway, banks, and grocery stores. He then transitioned to medical illustration/animation and spent a decade teaching animation.
In 2020, Matt founded Boom! Animation, a service-based studio that specializes in developing pilots and sizzle reels for the animation industry. Boom! has worked with notable clients like Black Sands Entertainment, Dream, Snoop Dogg, and Manta Comics.

In 2022, he co-founded Playwatch, Inc., a studio focused on property development and educational media. Playwatch is in the process of developing properties for sale or fundraising for production. Their YouTube channel, launched in 2023, has already amassed 200k subscribers, with a target of 1 million by 2027. In 2024, Playwatch partnered with Whoopi Goldberg to produce the pilot for Poof, which was accepted into the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival. The studio is also collaborating with Jason Learning to create early learning educational media for 2026.

Trained in multiple animation techniques, Matt now dedicates his time to directing and managing business operations at his studios.
