Kristin Perrone, Ph.D., HSPP, LMHC is a Professor (Full) in the Department of Counseling Psychology, Social Psychology and Counseling in the College of Health at Ball State University. Dr. Perrone is the Doctoral Program Training Director for the APA-accredited Counseling Psychology Ph.D. Program and is the Director of the Counseling Psychology Neuroscience (CPSY Neuro) Lab at Ball State University. Dr. Perrone is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association Society for Counseling Psychology. She is a graduate of the University of Minnesota (B.A., Psychology) and Virginia Commonwealth University (M.S. and Ph.D., Counseling Psychology). Her predoctoral internship was completed at the counseling center at the University of Maryland-College Park. She also completed 2 years of supervised postdoctoral training in neuropsychological assessment and practice. Her professional interests include applied and affective neuroscience, EEG/Event Related Potential, adult attachment and romantic relationships, psychotherapy interventions, neuropsychological assessment, and emotional intelligence.
