The Applied Anthropology Laboratories (AAL), established in 1978,  provides cultural resource management services for public and private agencies and has since grown to include academic research activities, public education, and student involvement. As part of Ball State’s Department of Anthropology and one of 15 designated knowledge units at the university, we are an educational and professional resource center.

The AAL provides a full range of cultural resource management and research investigations with a professional staff experienced in all levels of compliance.  We offer cost effective solutions to meet or exceed the quality of other firms while also emphasizing engagement and education.
