Academic Advisor for the Miller College of Business
Lucas obtained his Master of Science from SUNY Buffalo State University in 2011 and has since devoted himself to guiding undergraduate students as an Academic Advisor. Specializing in assisting sophomores, juniors, and seniors pursuing majors in Business Information Systems (BIS), Finance, Logistics and Supply Chain Management (LSCM), and Risk Management and Insurance (RMI), Lucas brings a unique blend of strengths and expertise to his role.
Known for his thoughtful approach and meticulous attention to detail, Lucas excels in the dynamic environment of a bustling advising office. Grounded in his Clifton Strengths of deliberative and focus, he carefully considers each student's identity and needs, ensuring personalized support tailored to their academic journey.

In addition to academic advising, Lucas serves as an advocate and referral agent, connecting students to various resources across campus. He facilitates connections to the Learning Center for educational support, the Career Center for career exploration and development, Success Coaching for personalized academic assistance, and Study Abroad programs for enriching global experiences.
Beyond his advising role, Lucas actively participates in community initiatives such as the Muncie Action Plan and Planet Muncie, demonstrating his dedication to making a positive impact beyond the campus community.
