Hi! I'm Megan Tilford, and I serve as the Academic Advisor for Computer Science, Data Analytics, and Mathematics. I love getting to know students, hearing about their goals, and helping figure out the best path to get to where they want to go. College an come with a lot of questions, and my goal is to make the process feel a little easier. Whether you're choosing classes, working towards graduation, exploring career options, or facing a challenge along the way, I'm here to listen, answer questions, and help you find a way forward.
I'm a proud Ball State graduate and I loved my experience here enough to pursue my doctorate in Adult and Community Education. I earned my undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology and master's degrees in Adult and Community Education, Executive Development for Public Service, and Public Administration. My background includes academic advising, child welfare, youth development, and public safety, and each experience has strengthened my passion for mentoring and supporting others. Outside of Ball State, I enjoy spending time with my family, coaching youth softball, and being involved in my community. I'm excited to work with you, cheer you on, and help you make the most of your Ball State experience!
