Hi everyone, my name is Amy Doren-Hardy, I am an advisor for first year students! I am here to help you through your first year at Ball State. A little bit about me, I am originally from Indianapolis so not super far from Muncie. I am a Ball State Alum myself. I got my master's in Student Affairs Administration and Higher Education from here. I am new to Muncie, so I am enjoying getting to know the town with my Husband, whether it's trying new food, or biking down a part of town, we love Muncie. I also enjoy baking and hanging out with our cats, Almond and Valentina. Something else about me that I am very proud of is I am a first-generation college graduate. Meaning I was the first in my family to attend and graduate college. This is something that has given me a passion for helping students reach their goals. As a first-year advisor, I want to make sure you feel supported and equipped with the proper resources to be successful. I know college can be a new world to navigate, so please know my door is open as you begin your college journey.
