Claire Presley
Academic Advisor
Hi there! My name is Claire Presley and I’m a first year
advisor here at Ball State. Although I’m from up north in Goshen, I’ve spent
lots of time in Muncie. I’m a two-time graduate with a B.S. in Interpersonal Communication
and a M. A. in Communication, Liberal Arts, and Sciences. I’m a proud alumni of
our Pride of Mid-America Marching Band (let’s go trombones!) and University
Singers (go band!). I can tell you all the best spots for thrifting and food
around here. I have two cats: Jumbo Shrimp Étouffée (Etty for short) and
Dumpling. My greatest achievement is graduating with my master’s degree
(something I never thought I could accomplish). Coming to Ball State gave me
room to grow as a student, something I wasn’t very good at in high school. As a
first year advisor, I am in your corner and on your team. I believe that
there’s no such thing as a stupid question!
