The UTS Tech Center, located on the first floor of Bracken Library (BL 101), offers friendly and knowledgeable technology support in a comfortable and inviting space.

  • When visiting the Tech Center, the Concierge Desk staff will provide basic technical support and information or will connect you with the Information Technology support service or expert that will best address your technology needs. 
  • The Technology HelpDesk can resolve many issues quickly via a chat, phone call or remote assist session. Call 765-285-1517 or visit www.bsu.edu/helpdesk, to ask a question,  report your issue, request assistance, or browse the IT Knowledge Base to find the information you need.

  • Students that require a Tech Center visit for assistance resolving a technical issue with their personally-owned computer are encouraged to schedule an appointment with Tech Time.
      
  • Faculty and staff that have a technical issue, with their Ball State-issued computer, may choose to visit the Tech Center. While not required, scheduling an appointment before you stop by allows us to have a dedicated support person waiting to assist you. You may also contact the Technology HelpDesk for remote assistance or to have an IT Support Technologist address your issue at your location.
